The Bottles have Arrived

Hi Brewers,

Yesterday I received my 330ml brewing bottles. I went with the Heineken green colour. I bought 72 bottles with 100 caps for only NZ$30. I found them on a site here in New Zealand called Trademe, essentially it is the equivalent of eBay.

I also invested in a good quality bottle capper, which was a bit pricey, NZ$33 at the brewcraft store, but I guess I have to put the caps on somehow.

  1. I used to just sanitize old Grolsch bottles. No need to cap. Though, capping is fun I admit.

  3. @Hart, I was thinking about that but I seriously don't like the tast of Grolsch and they don't sell the resealable 300mls here in NZ.

  7. Sounds like you are ready to rock! You should drink while brewing, it generally helps.

  15. Interesting. I'm curious to know how cost-effective it is, making your own vs buying from the store. I know that's not the only draw of it, but still, curious.
